Welcome

to the Allotment Gardeners' Association Kiel-Ellerbek e.V. (registered association). On April 9, 1910, our association was founded by ten citizens on the east side Kiel. Our club currently has just over 450 members.

Our associations' original land was approximately 30,000 m² and stretched as far as Wahlestrasse and Katharinenstrasse. Due to the expansion of the shipyard and naval area, our garden space declined over the years. Today our club premises are almost entirely located in Wellingdorf.

The members of our association are diverse: there are passionate gardeners who use their garden to provide themselves and their families with fruit and vegetables, as well as recreational gardeners for whom relaxation and the enjoyment of their flowers and ornamental bushes is the focus.

Many of our members are somewhat older, but we have increasingly younger garden and nature enthusiasts joining our association. Here, you'll find any information you need about our allotment gardeners' association.
